LiDAR Cubesat sensor

Objective:

The main objective of the OwlSat team is to create a custom time of flight LiDAR system that is able to detect space debris in low earth orbit. We are working together with Portland State University to potentially send our sensor into space. The OreSat is classed as a picosatellite which means that the mass of the satellite is between .1 – 1 kilogram which makes it very small.
